UGC NET aspirants from Kashmir appeal authorities to change their centres from Jammu, Samba
The UGC NET examination centre for 400 male and female candidates from Kashmir have been scheduled in Jammu and Samba.
The aspirants from Kashmir who are scheduled to sit in UGC NET – National Eligibility Test (NET) examination from December 18 here have appealed the authorities to change their examination centres from Jammu to Kashmir.
What is the demand of the UGC Candidates?
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), an aspirant, Mir Muhammad Afzal, said that the examination centers for at least 400 candidates including both male and female candidates has been chosen in Jammu and Samba, therefore ‘we urge the higher ups to look into the matter and change their examination centres from Jammu and Samba to Kashmir region.” Said the aspirant to Kashmir News Service (KNS).
Have the authorities reacted to the request?
He also said they have approached the higher-ups in this regard and are in a dilemma as no response has been received till now.
As there was no reply from the authorities the candidates again request for the shift of UGC NET examination centre shift.
“We hereby appeal the authorities again to look into the matter and fulfill our demands at an earliest,” another aspirant said. (KNS)
