Documents You Need to Upload for DU Admission
DU registration process is completely online and this means there is going to be a surge in number of students and parents logging into the DU website. Well few documents that student should keep in handy to upload on the DU application. As against to the earlier year application when the student only needed to fill the form , this year student would need to upload their academic certificates and other documents.
Delhi university has issued a list of 13 documents that will be required during registration, though all of them will not be mandatory for every aspirant. There will be one centralised registration form, expected to be an exhaustive one, for all categories of aspirants. MANDATORY DOCUMENTS FOR DU ONLINE REGISTRATION – SELF ATTESTED DOCUMENTS
List of documents required:
1) Class 10 Board examination certificate,
2) Class 10 marks-sheet
3) Class 12 marks-sheet
4) Class 12 Provisional certificate / original certificate
5) Character certificate
6) SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority
7) OBC (non-creamy layer) certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by competent authority
8) Transfer certificate from school / college as well as Migration Certificate from Board / University are required from those students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi
9) Two passport size self-attested photographs
10) Original copy of registration form
What Is Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)?
As the university has made the complete process online and there will be no option of physical submission of documents.The online registration forms will be available from June 1 and the university is likely to notify the details on May 31.
DU Admission 2018: Online registration for UG courses begin
Registration process will remain open till June 7; first cutoff list will be out on June 19, one portal for merit and entrance-based admissions.
Delhi University start online registrations for admission to its undergraduate courses from May 15,2018. Aspirants will get time to complete their application forms till June 7.
This year, DU will announce only five cutoff lists with the last list coming out on July 12. Admissions under it will be completed by July 14.
The university will conduct central counselling for remaining seats in the undergraduate courses after the fifth cutoff list.
“Tomorrow, the online portal for registration will start from 5 pm. Students will get 24 days to complete their application form,” a DU official said.
The official said students will be able to edit their forms till they make the payment.
“The class 12 results for many boards are not yet out. Students can fill their details and upload the marks when the results are announced. They will get a text message confirming their registration. Our system will ensure there are no multiple registrations by the same student,” the official said.
This year, the university will provide a single portal for applications for both merit-based and entrance-based admissions to undergraduate courses. Till 2017, the registration for entrance based admissions was separate.
IMPORTANT UPDATES ON DELHI UNIVERSITY FEMALE APPLICANTS
This year Delhi University 22 colleges will offer concession on cutoff for female candidates. On the online application forms, aspirants will get the details of colleges and the courses they offer.
Mathematics will be compulsory for Eco (H) aspirants. Also, a candidate will be allowed to take economics even if she has not studied the subject at the Class XII level.
