DU UG Admission: ‘Open Days’ for students from May 22 to May 31.
Delhi University has announced that it will conduct its annual ‘Open Days’ from Monday, 22 May. The Open Days, which are organised for students and parents seeking information about the University’s admission process, will continue till 31 March, 2017.
According to the university, the open days will begin from May 22 (Monday) and continue till May 31 (Wednesday) at Conference Centre, Gate No. 4, North Campus from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm. Further, an admission help desk has also been set up at the same venue, which will be active on all working days from 10 am to 5 pm during the entire admission process.
Delhi University’s online applications for Undergraduate merit-based programmes will also start from 22 May, while that for entrance based programmes will start from 31 May.
The university recently released the list of programmes for which entrance exams would be conducted. Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and B.A.(Hons) Business Economics are some of the programmes based on entrance test.

- Further, the university officials will address all the queries from 10 am to 1 pm only

M Pandit, a member of DU’s admission committee said, “Students can start filling the online registration form from May 22. As we are starting the registration earlier, students will have enough time to get their certificates and other documents in place.”
“There are around 1600 seats in undergraduate courses in which entrance test is conducted,” said an official. DU registrar Tarun Das said the registration process for all programmes and categories will be online.
As per an NDTV report, this year, the university will be conducting an entrance test for a total of nine undergraduate courses. In comparison to last year, only one more course has been added to the list of entrance-based courses, i.e. BA (Hons) in Music.
