Delhi University First Admission Cut-Off List 2017: Science, Arts, Commerce :- The Delhi University (DU) colleges announced their cut-offs on Friday with around the 97 per cent marks collected by the kid for commerce courses.
This year, 63,247 students scored over 90% in the CBSE Class 12 Board examination and 10,091 scored above 95%, certify that the cut-offs are very high which is good for the students, reported at the media portal The Hindu.

At Shri Ram College of Commerce, the cut-off for BCom (Hons) has come down to 97.5% from 97.75%. As the college has already filled 400 of 501 seats, the dip has been kept to a minimum.
While the second cut-off list released by the Delhi University on Friday saw a dip in percentages across courses, it still remains on the higher side. For popular courses such as BA Programme, English (Hons), BCom (Hons), Political Science (Hons) and Physics (Hons), the dip varies between 0.25-1%. Meanwhile, to avoid over-admission, popular colleges exercised caution and kept the cut-off above 95%. At Shri Ram College of Commerce, the cut-off for BCom (Hons) has come down to 97.5% from 97.75%. As the college has already filled 400 of 501 seats, the dip has been kept to a minimum.

Now, admissions to Delhi University under the first cutoff list have been closed.
In the second cut-off list, a dip of 1-3 percentage points across courses is expected.
Details of seats left for DU 2nd Admission List:
Kirori Mal College: The college will keep the admission open for open for all courses with a lower cutoff except for English and Sanskrit.
Sri Venkateswara College: As of now, only 298 admissions have been approved against the total 1,058 seats.
Lady Shri Ram College: The college has recorded 545 admissions against the total 783 seats.
Shri Ram College of Commerce: Admissions to Economic (Hons) have been closed for general category

This year, the university will come out with five cutoff lists and classes will begin on July 20.
