NTA Launches Mobile App – NEET, JEE, UGC NET, other Exam Aspirants Can Practice Mock Tests Free
NTA Mobile App: Now, the students will be able to attempt mock tests before their main exam, as the National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a ‘mobile app’. Through this app, students can practice or take mock tests on their own computers or smartphones. The exams like NEET, JEE, UGC NET, among other exams which require rigorous practice may take mock tests before their main attempt. The government has launched this mobile app with the objective of facilitating assistance to who can’t efford a coaching. This will help students prepare better for the competitive exam or other computer-based exams conducted by NTA.
NTA has established more than 4000 Test Practice Centres to acquaint the aspirants, especially those from rural areas with Computer Based Tests (CBTs) so that no student is disadvantaged due to lack of resources.
How to Register for NTA Mock Test
Students can register themselves online on NTA Website or ‘NTA Students App’ for visiting the TPCs.
These services are free of cost and more than one lakh students have registered at TPCs, HRD Ministry said in a statement. According to the Ministry, more than one crore students have benefited from these ‘App & Web’ services.
NTA has been established as a testing agency to conduct entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions.From this year, the agency has taken over the responsibility to conduct medical entrance exam NEET, engineering entrance exam JEE, UGC NET, among other exams. Earlier, CBSE would conduct these exams. NTA was established with the aim of bringing transparency in the examination system and make it more efficient.
