Combined Higher Secondary Level(CHSL)(Tier-I) Examination, 2016 – Tentative Answer Key
Uploading of Tentative Answer Key
The Commission had conducted Combined Higher Secondary Level (Tier-I) Examination, 2016 from 07.01.2017 to 08.02.2017 at various centres. The tentative answer keys for the said examination have been uploaded on the website of the Commission i.e. www.ssc.nic.in. The candidates may login using their same User Id and Password which were used during the Examination and submit representations, if any, from 15.03.2017 to 20.03.2017 (5.00 P.M.) through on-line method only on payment of Rs.100/- per answer.
Over 64,09,965 candidates appeared for the examination. After qualifying in Tier 1, the candidates will have to appear in Tier 2 exam which is Descriptive paper. The exam will be held on April 9.
SSC CGL Tier 2017 Application Online
Tier II (Descriptive paper):
- Tier-II Paper of CHSL 2016 will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks in ‘pen and paper mode’. The duration of the paper would be for one hour (20 minutes compensatory time will also be provided to the candidates). This paper has been introduced to assess the writing skills of the candidates which is necessary in government jobs
- The paper would comprise writing of an essay of 200-250 words and letter/application writing of approximately 150-200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in tier-II would be 33 per cent. The performance in tier II would be included for preparing merit. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. The candidates will be selected against the posts of Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA), Lower Division Clerk and Court Clerk.
