NTA Extends The Application Deadline For UGC-NET, CSIR-NET And Other Exams Till June 30.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the final submission dates of the online applications for several exams.
- This includes Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Ph.D. and OPENMAT (MBA), Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) 2020, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNUEE) 2020, University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2020, Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2020.
- The applicants can now submit the online forms by June 30, 2020 by 5 pm.
- As per the official announcement, the revised dates of releasing the admit cards shall be declared soon.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the final submission dates of the online applications for several examinations in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
In a recent tweet, Union Cabinet Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the online application for the exams including — Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Ph.D. and OPENMAT (MBA), Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) 2020, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNUEE) 2020, University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2020, Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2020 — have been extended.

“In view of many requests received from students and the hardships faced by them due to COVID-19 epidemic, I have advised NTA (National Testing Agency) to further extend the last dates of submission of Online Application Forms for these exams,” Pokhriyal tweeted.
The applicants can now submit the online forms by June 15, 2020 by 5 pm.The application fee can be deposited till 11:50 pm via credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI and Paytm.
Earlier, the last date to submit the applications was June 15, 2020.

UGC NET Syllabus
National Testing Agency has released UGC NET Syllabus for 2020 June Exam. A candidate must know the syllabus of the exam before preparing for the same. UGC NET 2020 June Exam will be a computer-based test consisting of two papers that is Paper 1 and 2 conducted in a single session. There will be no break between both the papers.
UGC NET 2020 Result
After the completion of exams, the board will announce the results. The Results of the same will be released on July 5, 2020, for the June session exams and the release date for the later exam will be announced in the second week of January 2021 for December session. The candidates can check their results online by submitting their roll number and date of birth. Only those candidates who will qualify the test by securing the cut off marks will be called for the counselling process.
