Delhi University announces admission dates, online process to start 22nd May.
This year, DU will release six cut-off lists. The last cut-off list will be announced on July 18, while the session will begin on July 20. The admission process is expected to close by August 16.
The Delhi University is set to begin its DU 2017 online registration process on May 22 from 5 PM onwards for admissions to 60 undergraduate courses in 63 affiliated colleges. To provide information on the courses, colleges, cutoffs, application filing and admission procedures, the Delhi University will conduct ‘Open Days’ at the university’s north campus from 10 AM to 1 PM till May 31.
The application window will close on June 12, with the first cut-off list to be announced on June 20.

Delhi University won’t allow multiple registrations in admission from this year
The applicant has to upload mandatory documents such as Class X board certificate, extracurricular activities, sports, SC, ST, OBC, Kashmiri Migrants, persons with disability certificate etc., if applicable.

Application Fee:
Candidates can submit the fee only through Online Payment mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking). The Fee is non-refundable.

Delhi University admissions 2017: Know how to fill the application form
COMPLETE THE UNIVERSITY APPLICATION FORM JUST BY PUTTING YOUR CBSE ROLL NUMBER
This year there is a drastic change in the system as the online registration form this year will automatically fill the marks obtained by students from CBSE Board when they fill their board roll number. Students can opt for any course out of 60 being offered by around 62 colleges under the university. Delhi University won’t allow multiple registrations in admission from this year.
STEPS TO COMPLETE THE DU 2017 APPLICATION FORM –
Step-1 Online Registration:
> Visit the website at www.du.ac.in
Candidates have to visit to the official website. Go through the section “New Applicant Sign UP”. Fill the details in the “New User Signup” & click on the register button. A verification link will be sent in your registered email.id. Click on that link to confirm your DU Online registration. Candidates have to login again to fill the application form. Click on the “Apply Now” button.
Step-2 Fill the Application Form:
Now, candidates have to fill their personal details, family details, address, academic details, course selection, sports, ECA, etc to complete the registration. After filling all the details, click on the “Submit” button.
> Search for the course that you wish to register for.

Step-3 Upload scanned Images:
Candidates have to upload the scanned documents in a given format. After uploading the scanned images, candidates click on the “submit” button. Candidates can preview the entire Delhi University application form before making a payment.
> Upload relevant scanned documents.
- Scanned Photograph & signature (maximum size: 50KB).
- The size of photograph should be 2 inch x 2 inch (5 mm x 5mm).
- Class 10th Board Certificate (For DOB) (maximum size: 100KB).
- Caste Certificate (If applicable) (maximum size: 100KB).
- Income Certificate (for OBC-NCL) (If applicable).
- Sport Certificate(s) for last three years (If applicable).
- Extra Curricular Activities Certificate(s) (If applicable).

Step-4 Make Payment:
After successful registration, candidates can submit the fee through online payment mode Only. Click on the “Click to Make Payment” button. For future use, candidates take the printout of the DU Admission Form 2017.
The application fee for General/ OBC category is INR 100 while it is INR 50 for SC/ ST category. The application fee can be through debit or credit card/ net-banking in online mode and through bank challan at any branch.
Payment Procedure –
- Click on the button “Click to Make Payment”.
- Select Payment Gateway.
- Pay your application fee.
NOTE : Candidates who do not have Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking can use Wallet.
Step 5 – Download/Printout Application Form:
Take a print of the registration acknowledgement slip. An email and text message can also be expected if details have been provided.
Step 6 – On Campus Admission Procedure :
> Once the university releases the first cut-off list, and if you are eligible, login to the site with your registration details and identify the colleges you wish to apply to. Take a print of the acknowledgement of your application.
> You can now visit the college within the following 3 days with the applicable acknowledgement slip and board and other relevant documents. Bank account details will also have to be furnished.
> Once your documents are verified, you will receive an admission from signed by the principal of the college and a payment link for the fees will be generated.
> Use to link to pay the course fees within 48 hours.

> Women’s education: Moreover, in order to promote ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, the university said that all female students who are residents of the National Capital Territory will automatically register themselves for DU’s Non Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) when they fill out the admission form and opt for either BA (Programme) or BCom (Pass) or both. Further, they will not have to pay any separate fee. NCWEB will put out its first cut off on June 24 at www.ncweb.du.ac.in) and at all its centres.
